Dear Small Group Leaders of Christ Church,
Happy Easter to you all! The Risen Christ is with us! What a joy to share in Christian fellowship in the knowledge of the One who has conquered death and ushers us into the full abundant and eternal life! Attached is the discussion guide for this week’s meetings on the Easter messages “Sounds Like Nonsense to Me.” Please send a friendly group email reminder about your meeting this week and be sure to attach the discussion guide and link to the sermon videos at www.christchurchsl.org/sermons.

Semester End Survey For ALL Small Group Participants
Leader Tip #1- a new semester begins!
Today we enter into a new season in the church year, and into a new semester for our small groups, which I call the minimester! Because of family schedules and travel plans, I have found that around mid-May, many of our groups at Christ Church tend to end their studies and only meet occasionally during the summer months. Over the next six weeks, We will be unpacking some great stories of scripture- The disciples encountering the risen Christ in the walk to Emmaus, the calling story of Samuel as a young boy, and the “I Am” statements of Jesus in the gospel of John. So as the winter semester comes to a close with this week’s session on Easter, you may wish to let the group know where we are headed and offer them the opportunity to commit to try attending over the next six weeks or so. Your group is welcome to decide when to meet or when to take a break and the group emails you all have set up, or the Realm communications options are both great ways to keep everyone on the same page.
Leader Tip #2- the Follow Up Surveys and End of the Semester Surveys
The link for the follow up surveys are listed above for the new people who filled out the pre-participation when they began, and the the link for the general small group feedback forms for all members to fill out is above as well. Please share printouts with your members and collect the filled out forms when you can. You can leave them for me at the church office. Thank you to those who have already submitted them.
Leader Tip #3- Using Realm for Group attendance
Have you been able to log into Realm as a leader and see the participant list in your group? Information about how to log-in to the new church online database and group networking resource is available at www.christchurchsl.org/realm. The link to the pdf file from Realm about useful functions for group leaders is listed above as well.
That’s all for now! Take joy in the resurrection of Christ friends! It is good news!
